Download Phoenix Jailbreak IPA for iOS 9.3.5 on 32-Bit Devices

  • Phoenix is a semi-untethered jailbreak released by developer Siguza and tihmstar.
  • It supports any 32-bit devices running iOS 9.3.5.
  • This is not a KPPLess Jailbreak which means Cydia is built-in and you can start installing tweaks right away.

If you have a legacy device that you wish to break free from Apple restrictions, now is the time. With iOS 11 only supporting iPhone 5s and above, it’s sad that anything under won’t be able to experience the new software update.

Anyways, now that the iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak is out, you have something to look forward to. That is installing new Cydia tweaks and customize your iPhone or iPad with custom themes from the store.

Compatible Devices

Like mentioned earlier, the Phoenix jailbreak tool is only available for 32-bit devices running iOS 9.3.5. Check to see if any of your models are listed below.

  • iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c
  • iPod touch 5G
  • iPad mini, iPad 2, iPad 3rd gen, iPad 4th gen

Since Phoenix is a semi-untethered jailbreak, you will need to launch the app and re-jailbreak your iPhone every time the device is rebooted.

Prepare for Jailbreak

To jailbreak your iOS 9.3.5 using Phoenix:

  1. Start off by downloading the latest version of the IPA from here.
  2. You will also need to get Cydia Impactor to sideload the file.
  3. Connect your iPhone or iPad to the computer.
  4. Drag and drop the Phoenix.ipa file into Cydia Impactor.
  5. Enter your Apple ID and password.
  6. Wait for Impactor to finish installing the app.

When done, you should see the Phoenix app on your home screen.

This just means you have successfully installed the jailbreak app onto your iOS device. The fun begins now.

Start Jailbreaking

Tap to open the Phoenix app on your iPhone. If you see the popup that says, “Untrusted Developer,” read this to understand why and how to fix it. The gist is that you will need to open the Settings app > General > Device Management.

Once Phoenix is opened, it will say that your current device is not jailbroken.

To jailbreak, tap on the “Prepare For Jailbreak” text. Read the terms and conditions and choose Accept. Phoenix will also let you know that it comes with a free mixtape.

When you get to the Install Cydia screen, tap Begin Installation. It will display a popup to let you know once again if your device is supported by Phoenix or not. If it is, tap on Use Provided Offsets.

The Jailbreak process will begin at this point; you do not need to do anything. Just let the system running.

Your iOS device will reboot after a few minutes. If everything works out fine, Cydia should be installed on your iPhone or iPad. Launch Cydia for the first time and let it run all its packages and dependencies.

  2. I need solutions to my installed Cydia not working after using Phoenix jailbreak for 32 bit devices. The error I am seeing in Cydia black screen is ( could not open file/var/lib/dpkg/status -open(2)no such file directory )and The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened?.I am using an ipad 2 2,4 32 bit ios 9.3.5.I have tried just installing other Cydia’s from somebody else who promises its a full version but afterwards noticed its just a demo and nothing extra can be added to it or install any of it’s apps.Another website also promised a full jailbreak for ios 9.3.5 but after attempting to get the zip file on the download button you have to pay or enter a mobile phone competition,as that what appears after the attempted download was.I tried Pangu,taig,Yalu,Zjailbreak,Tutu,3utools,I funbox,Putty,Winscp?,none of these worked.i tried a reset all settings in my ipad and a full restore, and this didn’t change anything either.I already spent over one week with failed attempts to get Cydia working after using Phoenix and all so far has failed..I tried Pangu 9.0.2 jailbreak then update from there but it failed also.Experts in Youtube show the same error as I have in my ipad but tried them all as they explained it and no change.I can add repos into my ipad but no sources and packages from the installed repos and updates if any will show up on screen..I tried the lib file and Cydiafix and nothing new happened.I emailed Saurik the owner of Cydia and no replied as of yet?.I was thinking maybe my installed 2015 version of Cydia is no longer used ,but have no way to update or search for updates?, in my installed Cydia.I refreshed the button and removed repos and this made little difference.I tried to install an Ipsw ios 10 ipa file and other ones later than that but my ipad will not accept that ipa file.I tried to downgrade to ios 9.3.4 and lower but this also was denied after using a ios 9.3.4 ipa file downloaded. What solutions would you have?,and any further questions you need me to answer just email me and I will reply back….Thanks

  3. This has been working great until a week or two ago.
iOS is still 9.2, yet jailbreak vanished. No known reason. All jailbroken related apps crash (except Firebird.)

I was able to rejailbreak a few times, but now that no longer works. Using the proper offsets, and after the auto reboot – no changes.

What happened to Phoenix? Why did the device e it job mode?
