How to Change iPhone Carrier Logo for Jailbroken & No Jailbreak

Who’s here is tired of seeing their default carrier logo on iPhone or iPad?

For me, it’s the good old’ T-Mobile since 2012. It sucks not being able to customize the status bar of your iOS device. Further, some tweaks like Alkaline require a jailbroken device.

By default, the logo of the carrier that you belong to will sit nicely on the top left-hand corner. Be it AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Sometimes, you get bored of looking at the same name for years.

Bringing to you today is a software that can help customizing the logo of your iPhone carrier.

Many people are well-known of a tweak called Zeppelin which allows you to edit your carrier name. This can usually be possible if your iPhone is jailbroken.

Several days ago we introduced a Mac software called CarrierEditor. It’s an alternative of Zeppelin for non-jailbroken users. A lot of people seems to like but, except users without a macOS.

Recently, iOS developer Dany Lisiansky has released a “CarrierEditor for the Windows” named CustomCarrierLogo.

If changing the default carrier logo of your iPhone is all you wanted, then this is the ideal tool to do so. Of course, jailbreaking your iOS device will make things more interesting and you will have a chance to use more packages like Zeppelin, for example.

If you get a chance to jailbreak your iPhone, be sure to check out Zeppelin. This tweak has been around for a long time, and we have got to say that it’s the best package to change your default carrier logo text.

As for flexibility, you can replace or add the icon to your new carrier.

Is Batman your favorite superhero? Well, you can now add his bat sign as the carrier logo.

Using  Zeppelin

It’s not that hard to get started.

  1. Go on Cydia and tap on the Search feature
  2. Now type in Zeppelin and install it
  3. Wait for your device to download the package and then Respring

Once you get the tweak installed, go to the Settings app. Access the Zeppelin option and pick your new favorite logo and replace the carrier text to anything you like.

Did you know that there are more logos and extensions for Zeppelin? You can get them from Cydia and apply the changes via the same method.
