Force an app to close on the Apple Watch

  1. Press and hold the side button right below the Digital Crown
  2. Wait until the power down menu appears
  3. Let go of the button from Step 1
  4. Now repeat the process again by pressing and holding on the side button

The last step will eventually quit the problematic app on your Apple Watch.
